Firmware Update

The firmware update is a process that installs the latest version of the device’s internal software. This update is essential to: improve performance, fix known bugs, address connectivity issues, and add new features.
For this reason, it's important to connect Shelfy to the Vitesy Hub app: to keep the product always updated to the latest version.
The update is automatic if the device is connected and the Wi-Fi connection is stable.

Why doesn't my Shelfy have the updated firmware?

Unstable connection:
If the device is not connected to a Wi-Fi network, the update cannot begin.
Solution: We recommend keeping the device always connected to Wi-Fi to ensure a smooth update process.

Error during product registration:
If you receive an error during registration, it might be due to an unstable Bluetooth connection. Make sure you are close to the device and stay within the app while registering.
Solution: Restart the device and repeat the registration process.

Low battery:
If the battery is below 5% and the LEDs show a red light, the update will not start.
Solution: Charge the device to an adequate level before attempting the update again.
