What is the difference between Shelfy and the upgraded version of Shelfy?

The upgraded version of Shelfy (with the dark gray casing) is equipped with a blue LED light, which represents an improvement compared to the previously used white LEDs. This specific wavelength is particularly effective in activating the photocatalysis process, the mechanism behind air purification.

We are finalizing the document with in-depth tests on the new filters, but we can already say that the integration of blue LEDs was designed to make the system even more efficient.

Thanks to the firmware update, the upgraded version of Shelfy has more reliable battery management: charging now takes place within the expected time (about 7 hours).

At the same time, we are working to fully exploit the new battery hardware and introduce further optimizations. The improvements already implemented, however, ensure greater stability and a more precise charging cycle compared to the past.
