How to recharge Shelfy?

Separate the two outer shells and connect the charging cable provided in the package to the socket located on the side of the inner shell.

We recommend, before plugging in the cable, that you let Shelfy acclimatize on a dry surface for about 15 minutes to prevent condensation.

Once plugged into a power outlet, you will see that the LED around the button will start flashing white - this means that Shelfy is charging. When it is fully charged, the LED will turn green.

How long does it take for a full charge?

Shelfy's battery has a large capacity of 10,400 mAh, which means it can last up to three weeks in eco mode on a single charge. However, precisely because of its large capacity, the charging time is not immediate. Under ideal conditions (with the right cable and charger), it takes about 7 hours for a full charge. Using a more powerful charger will not shorten Shelfy's charging time.

How to choose a suitable charger?

To recharge Shelfy in the indicated time, it is important to use a powerful charger. Check your charger: on the label (usually on the back or side) make sure that multiplying Volts (V) and Amps (A) results in at least 15W. For example, a label with 5.0V=4.5A (5×4.5=22.5) is perfect!

If you use a less powerful charger, Shelfy will still charge, but it will take much longer. The same goes for cables: a poor quality cable or one that is too long can slow down charging. Always use the cable you find in the package or a good quality one.
